I do a ton of framing with FrameD of all the concert posters I have - getting the correct shade can be difficult- so having these is a must have. My set came all the same size- all clearly labeled on the back - and shrink wrapped. Changed my color choices on multiple matte sets.
Mat is excellent, it's a large size that was hard to find. It was cut perfectly, the artwork looks amazing. Thank you!!
I was attracted to Frame Destination after seeing a guide for framing metal prints. After trouble negotiating the website I ordered a mat board and frame for my metal print with hanging block. It quickly became apparent that it was not going to work. You can assemble the frame and install the mat board but there is no way to connect the frame/mat to my metal print. They just exist as two separate pieces. I thought I could make “wedges” to place between the frame and the hanging block to secure the print in the frame but it was a mess and I am not going to take a chance of damaging my metal print. Ended up throwing the mat board away.
When we needed to frame several photos for a memorial service, we decided we'd better have professionals cut the mats. If you've ever tried to cut your own matboard, you know that it's a royal pain to make multiple clean cuts, even on your best day. We choose the color Quarry for a couple of our color photos, and Pure White w/ Black Core for the vintage sepia/black & white. Like others have mentioned, the custom ordering process was a little tricky, but we managed to figure it out. One small hiccup did happen: one of our scans showing where we wanted the openings to be didn't upload (it was on our end, not Frame Destination's), and customer service promptly contacted us to get it straightened out. After that, everything proceeded just fine. When we received our order, everything was packed well, and was smudge and bend free. Our family member's photos looked stunning inside the mats, and we couldn't have been happier despite the circumstances. I highly recommend.
I will continue to order my framing supplies because of the care that goes into each piece I ordered.
Great products, outrageous shipping costs. I'm going to look around for other shops to compare prices and shipping costs.
Illegal! I love you guys. Snappy delivery. Easy ordering on the website. Love the drop-in image to frame calculator. Now about custom inner window cuts..., OK, I know - that'll never happen.
Have had multiple orders from frame destination and each time they exceeded expectations. As long as I need a frame it will be with frame destination.
Not only is this matboard good quality, the custom team aced the task of cutting it to my specs. It was perfect in every dimension and arrived in great condition. Thanks!
FD was kind enough to recognize a problem in the measurements and send out another mat ASAP.
