Replacement Glass for Picture Frames

Picture frame glazing, available in glass or acrylic, covers and protects artwork from damaging factors such as temperature changes, moisture, pollutants, and touching. Some glazing options also protect against UV radiation, which fades or discolors artwork over time. Neither picture frame glass nor acrylic is perfect for all art framing; both have advantages and disadvantages. Choose high-quality, scratch-resistant glass—available in standard 2mm clear, UV-filter, anti-reflective, and a UV anti-reflective combination—or opt for optically pure acrylic, which is available in standard, non-glare, UV-filter, or a combination of the two. Whichever glazing you choose, make sure you select the correct picture frame glass cleaner to go along with it.
