This higher profile of this solid wood stretcher bar frame makes it the perfect choice for beautiful gallery wrap canvases. Hand built to order and featuring pre-squared corners, this frame won't bend or buckle during canvas stretching. An excellent option for artwork displayed in a floater frame. Pairs well with our F141 Canvas Floater Frame.

The S280 Stretcher Bar Frame is 1-15/16" tall and 1-7/16" wide, a perfect fit for our F141 Floater Frame.
This pre-assembled stretcher frame is constructed from high quality solid wood stretcher bars that are hand glued and nailed to create secure 90 degree corners. This hand-assembled solid wood frame will not buckle during canvas stretching. All Frame Destination stretcher bar frames feature rounded faces to help prevent canvases from cracking over time.
NOTE: Frame corners are not adjustable. If you need to adjust for canvas sagging use traditional tongue and groove stretcher bars. Because our strainer frames are made of high quality solid wood stretcher strips you may need to use a higher quality nail gun to ensure the nails holding the canvas are seated properly.

The S280 is solid strength and supports stretched canvas for a professional finished product. I’ve produced art from 11x14 to 48x36 with absolutely no twisting or warping. Plus— FD always stands by their products with great customer service in a very personable manner. My go to framing company.
