Leather Paper Weight Bag for temporarily holding down prints while mounting them for framing. Steel shot weight with soft non-abrasive leather covering. 3-1/2 inches wide.

Fine soft leather paperweight bag - no hard edges. High quality Frame Destination leather weight bags are used for holding down prints, drawings or documents while matting or mounting them for picture framing. The soft non-abrasive leather covering is filled with 10 to 11 ounces of steel shot weight, which provides pressure to hold glued items together while drying. Measures 3-1/2 inches in diameter.
TIP: Volume discounts are available at quantity 4 or 10.
NOTE: The weights do have the Frame Destination logo on one side as shown in the picture, and we cannot customize these to your logo.
Print and document paperweights securely hold items in place during the mounting process. They are one of those framing and matting supplies that people may not consider until they have had the frustration of trying to keep a document in position while attempting to affix it to the matboard or mountboard. Print and document weights will help make mounting the images of your framed artworks and photos a success on the first try.
Document weights are basically miniature leather pillows stuffed with steel pellets, resembling an industrial-strength beanbag with an outer leather cover that is soft and non-abrasive. These print and paper weights are economically priced with volume discounts are available.
Caution: Paperweights are for temporary use only. Long term use could possibly result in a chemical reaction between the leather and the artwork.
The photo on the page makes them look bigger there’s also two pictures and made me think I was purchasing two ! Nice product a little on smaller side and I will need to purchase more !

Thank you for your review Lisa!
These are the perfect weights to use when matting. No more trying to find items that heavy enough but not too heavy and will not scratch or mark prints and mat boards. Wonderful customer service too !

Thank you for the feedback, Judith! A note on the weights - make sure to keep the "Artie" side up and off of the artwork so that you don't run into any issue!
I have a large format printer that accepts roll paper with high weights, gsm 300+. When a large print comes off the roll it is quite curly, so I need to weight it down to get the paper to relax. These paper weights from Frame Destination do the trick. They are a bit pricy for what they do, but I’m so happy with their custom framing products, the ease with which I’m able place orders, that I’ happy to give them my paper weight business too.
