The heavy profile of the S140 Stretcher Bar Frame is ideal for unframed gallery wrap canvases or gallery wrap canvases framed in Floater Frames, such as our F120 and F150. It is 1-5/16" tall and 1-1/2" wide. This pre-squared, ready-made frame will not buckle during canvas stretching.
The S140 is made of high quality strainer stretcher strips and hand glued and nailed for secure 90 degree corners. It also has rounded stretcher bar faces to prevent canvases from cracking.
NOTE: Frame corners are note adjustable. If you need to adjust for canvas sagging use traditional tongue and groove stretcher bars. Because our strainer frames are made of high quality solid wood stretcher strips you may need to use a higher quality nail fun to ensure the nails holding the canvas are seated properly.
I've used Frame Destination pre-made stretcher bar frames for many of my larger artworks. They are perfect: strong and well made, plus so much easier than assembling your own, which will often wrack and take forever to get true to square. Now I'm starting to use them for mid-size artworks! Who wants to go back to assembling your own stretchers when these are such high quality?

The frame was perfectly squared at 16" and fit my pre-painted canvas perfectly. I would not hesitate using Frame Destination in the future if needs arise.

Thank you for your review Guy!
I bought two of these. They were of very high quality and workmanship and worked perfectly for stretching artwork to hang on the wall. Nice deep side wrap looks nice on the wall. Delivery took longer than expected, but the packaging was amazing that protected the frames from shipping damage. Would order here again.

love them. period.
I often buy artwork abroad and return with just rolled canvas and it is so hard to find stretchers that meet exact dimensions. You guys delivered a great product, exactly what I needed, and at a fair price. I’ll definitely return. Thank you.
