The inside dimension of this floater frame will automatically be sized 1/2" larger than the stretcher bar dimensions, allowing for 1/4" float space between the canvas and the inside edge of the frame on either side. The smallest size possible is 8" due to the screw hole spacing on the moulding.
I purchased the black metal floating frame for a 4’ x 4’ painting and it is gorgeous. The frame made a big difference in the appearance of the painting This is the first floating frame I’ve purchased and it really does look so much nicer than a frame that fits directly to the canvas.
They work very well. Thank you
The frames went perfectly with the pictures. It was a bit difficult to figure out at first, but once I did it was all good.
This frame was really easy to assemble and mount the canvas. All the hardware for any type of mounting is included. Could not be better.
I ordered large frame to use for photograph print mounted on gator board. As anticipated, I used additional foam board to make the print fit less deep in the frame. The frame met my expectations and print looks great with the sleek metal border. I’ve always been happy with products from frame destination!

Besides having great products for a great price, your customer service is second to none. Mistake was made on dimensioning my frame. I reached out to customer service. They sent me a prepaid shipping tag. I sent the products back and received replacement product in less than one week. This is our third time using this company and will use it again. Outstanding!!

Thank you for your review Patricia!
Frame material was good. Holes for screwing were not spaced well-some were really close to the cut end. Other than that, I would make a change in the allowance. I like the edge of an unpainted canvas to not be as visible- it is stated in the specs but personal preference would make me want to state the work a bit larger to hide the sides of the work.
