Consider frame style 851! It is a little narrower and less expensive. Profile 851
Your photographs and prints won't be hidden when framed in the Profile 876 wood moulding. Featuring a smooth, matte black finish, this frame boasts a 1 1/16-inch face and deep 7/8-inch rabbet.
Warning: Frame size equals the size of the frame’s components, for example, the glass, mat board, and backer board. We automatically cut the inside of our frames 1/8 inch larger to allow for size tolerances, components that are not truly square, and to prevent binding and warping with temperature changes. Available in a smooth, Matte Black finish, the Profile 876 frame moulding is a perfect example of the gallery style. Our wood picture frames are completely assembled with glue and V-nails by our staff to ensure quality and durability. Standard sizes start at 5 x 7, but custom sizes are also available. All Frame Destination frames are cut approximately 1/8 inch larger to ensure that all framing components, including mat board, mount board, and glazing, fit properly within the finished frame.

My picture was very awkward size which made matting and framing difficult. They made all the pieces fit together beautifully. Couldn’t be happier! Tom

Thank you for your feedback Bradley!
I ordered the complete custom frame package to try out. It included the frame, 8 ply mat, backing foam board and acrylic glass. Everything came exactly as I ordered it. The frame is wood with thick matte coating applied to it. It is so much nicer than a metal frame. Everything I ordered was archival so it was not cheap but it shows off my large format photograph superbly! Will buy again.

As always, the frame matte was perfectly cut to fit a perfect frame. I put a rush on the order, and it shipped the following morning. There’s a reason I’ve been ordering from Frame Destination for years!

We LOVE hearing this! Thank you for being a loyal customer!
I ordered a wood frame for a metal print. I followed the instructions on the webpage for measurements for metal prints. When I called about a question, the salesperson was a little confused about my wanting only a 1/8th inch slot for the tabs, but I explained I was only following the online instructions. Normally you would add up the thickness of the mats and artwork and set your slot accordingly which was what she was trying to do. I completed the order online and it fit perfectly.
