Warning: Frame size equals the size of the frame’s components, for example, the glass, mat board, and backer board. We automatically cut the inside of our frames 1/8 inch larger to allow for size tolerances, components that are not truly square, and to prevent binding and warping with temperature changes. The Profile 875 gallery-style wood frame moulding is available in a smooth, hand-finished Black Matte. Each wood frame is completely assembled in-house by our trained staff with V-nails and glue. Frame Destination frames are cut approximately 1/8 inch larger to ensure all framing materials, including mat board, mount board, and glazing, fit properly within the finished frame.
I was 100% happy with this purchase and have continued to purchase from Frame Destinations for my work. Much as I love my local frame shop, due to the prohibitive cost of using a professional framer, I have resolved to frame my own artwork. I have tried less expensive framing supply shops but the quality of fit (especially corners), the lack of options for glazing and backing materials and/or the density of the wood (some cheaper frames from others split when attaching D-rings) has made me return to Frame Destinations again and again. The kits pop together and the fit is perfect and easy. Materials are shipped with ample packing and care; nothing has arrived scratched, chipped or broken. My only suggestion would be to add the option of a pre-cut dust cover backing to the kit.

Once it was right, it was great

The frames I have received from Frame Destination have all been of very good quality. Two different times - different orders, different years, the incorrect frame has been sent. They have fixed the issues with no hassle, other than the additional wait time, but seems they need to work a bit on their quality control. Overall a much better deal/value than going to a frame shop or big box store.

Thank you for the review and feedback, Linda!

A customer for years, I have received consistent quality and excellent customer service. The website is easy to use, and allows complete customization of frames, mattes, and back boards. Frame construction is excellent, and the shipments are always packaged extremely well so that frames are kept safe and undamaged. Highly recommended.

What's Not To Love?

A really nice website, easy to order, and the quality of the frames is excellent as is the pricing. Only 2 wishes:
1. There was a slightly larger selection-not overwhelming, but just a few more styles and woods.
2. There was a way to "try out" my images online by placing them in the different frames you offer online so I could better decide on the most perfect size.
Response from Frame Destination
Thank you so much for the feedback, Sara - we'll share with our owner. Thanks for the review as well!
