With its bold, 1 1/2-inch face, this gallery-style wood picture frame moulding brings attention to artwork. Its smooth, matte black color is understated, and each frame is hand-finished to ensure its high quality.

Warning: Frame size equals the size of the frame’s components, for example, the glass, mat board, and backer board. We automatically cut the inside of our frames 1/8 inch larger to allow for size tolerances, components that are not truly square, and to prevent binding and warping with temperature changes. The Profile 874 wood picture frame moulding is offered in Matte Black and in standard sizes starting at 5 x 7 inches; custom sizes are available as well. Our wood picture frames are assembled with glue and V-nails by our in-house production team. All Frame Destination frames are cut approximately 1/8 inch larger to ensure that all framing components, including mat board, mount board, and glazing, fit properly within the finished frame.

Custom sized wood picture frame
The order arrived extremely well packed and in perfect condition. Customer service called to verify if I wanted frame points installed which I omitted on my order on purpose. The ordering process was easy for me. A novice may have to get customer service assistance to be sure of certain frame dimensions such as rabbet depth. The web site is very informative! FedEx, instructions
As I mentioned in my phone call to Melody yesterday, I was completely satisfied with the frame, i,e., I’d rate it a 5. But: 1. FedEx left the package outside my building despite instructions to bring packages to the office of the complex 2. There were not instructions as to which side of the no-glare, no-UV acrylic should face out. Please include it ON the acrylic AND in the framing instructions.
