About this item
Sleek and tall smooth black wood picture frame ideal for fine-art photography. Just 5/8 inches wide but a deep rabbet of 1-3/8 inches. This wood profile is not recommend for frames larger than 20x30 inches since it is so narrow. If you require a larger frame we recommend our S30 picture frame profile.

Warning: Frame size equals the size of the frame’s components, for example, the glass, mat board, and backer board. We automatically cut the inside of our frames 1/8 inch larger to allow for size tolerances, components that are not truly square, and to prevent binding and warping with temperature changes. Wood frame profile 865 has a matte black finish and face width of 5/8 inches. Rabbet will hold 1-3/8 inches and the frame will project off the wall 1-3/4 inches. Each wood frame is completely assembled with glue and v-nails and hand finished. Frame Hanging kit sold separately unless moulding purchased as a complete wood picture frame. Our staff cuts each frame’s moulding approximately 1/8 inch larger to ensure the mat/glass/backing will fit properly within the finished picture frame. Back loading.
Type: Custom Frame, Custom Wood.

Excellent! Would use again
Exactly as described. Worked well in a large format. Do recommend getting samples first. We did that and were confident in our final choice.

Top notch, truly flawless
I've placed about five different orders now, each a mixture of precisely sized frames and mats and glass and plexiglass. After finally mastering the tricky arithmetic of getting the measurements exactly right, I am now a totally happy customer. FrameDestination's products are top notch and cost less than half what our local store charges. Great selection of frame styles and mats. I just couldn't be happier.

We're so happy to hear this - thanks so much for the detailed review!

Very high quality frame and excellent service
My custom sized frame was cut perfectly and made of high quality material. Packaging was excellent and delivery was as stated. I would buy a frame again from Frame Destination . I am very satisfied with the quality of their service and rate them A++ I will not have be bothered with wait in line or dealing with mediocre work performed by the majority of picture framing stores in the Washington metropolitan area.
Response from Frame Destination
Thank you so much for your kind words! We are so happy we could help you out! We look forward to your future orders!

Product is great
Product is great, as it always is. I’ve loved all the frames I purchased. My only complaint would be that repeat/frequent customers are never offered discounts beyond 10% off (which is available to everyone that is willing to put in a little internet research before purchasing). It would be nice to get a complimentary frame or free shipping code once in a while.
