Warning: Frame size equals the size of the frame’s components, for example, the glass, mat board, and backer board. We automatically cut the inside of our frames 1/8 inch larger to allow for size tolerances, components that are not truly square, and to prevent binding and warping with temperature changes.
Please note that the frame's 5/16-inch rabbet will fit 4-ply mat boards and below only; it is not suitable for 8-ply or double mat boards. Our wood frames are completely assembled by our trained staff with glue and V-nails to assure quality. Frame Destination frames are cut approximately 1/8 inch larger to ensure all framing materials, including mat board, mount board, and glazing, fit properly within the finished frame.Customer reviews

Great Product and Excellent Service
This was my second order and won't be my last. This frame is beautiful and the quality is excellent. The mitered corners are joined perfectly. I ordered custom sized frames along with Anti-Reflective Water White Glass, frame spacers cut to fit, Acid free foam board, and points set to fit contents. Everything fit perfectly. My order was packed securely and arrived very quickly. Also, I had emailed customer support with a question about my order and received a prompt reply. Another thing I appreciated is being able to upload an image to see a framed view. This gave me more confidence in selecting the right frame for my artwork. I wish this feature was also available for floater frames. Overall I give Framed Destination 5 stars times 2.

Rich color, Rich Texture - Perfect Frame for my autumn show
As usual, prompt delivery, excellent packaging and construction. I previously purchased mainly black gallery frames but for the upcoming Autumn Art Fair I wanted something that would pull out the autumn colors. These frames are perfect. The gold color and texture is very rich and draws out the image. I have started mounting my canvas printing on 3/16 Gator Board and the rabbet depth is just right for these. Initial response before the fair is very positive so I will have to get more before the opening. Attached is an image but I have to apologize for the uneven lighting - trust me the colors are perfectly uniform.

I've used this to frame a sunset pastel painting with mat. The frame well made and looks great. I bought the silver tone.
