Warning: Frame size equals the size of the frame’s components, for example, the glass, mat board, and backer board. We automatically cut the inside of our frames 1/8 inch larger to allow for size tolerances, components that are not truly square, and to prevent binding and warping with temperature changes.
The Nielsen Profile 93 metal picture frame is available in three anodized finishes, Silver, Frosted Walnut and Matte Black. The frame has a rabbet of 1/2" and is 7/16" wide, with a height of 1". Frame Destination frames are cut approximately 1/8" larger to ensure that all frame components, including mat board, glazing, and backing, will fit properly within the finished frame. Metal frames without contents may be shipped unassembled. Let us know if you have an assembly preference.

Needed an "odd" sized frame for my prints that would match other similar frames and stumbled across Frame Destination. Was able to order online a set of frames that perfectly matched my print sizes along with the clear acrylic inserts. Was super easy to put together and hang without issue!
Easy to use, I customized with acid-free mat and museum glass and was very happy with the final result. When I had a question about my order the response was very prompt and helpful.
Excellent experience.

The 93 Nielsen profile is a clean, smart gallery frame for works on paper. It is one of my go-to frames for series of drawings. It is deep enough for multiple mats. I love the matte black finish. Makes a very professional presentation.

This is my go-to frame for my photography. It is elegant, simple and understated so that the eye is on the print, not the frame.
