Warning: Frame size equals the size of the frame’s components, for example, the glass, mat board, and backer board. We automatically cut the inside of our frames 1/8 inch larger to allow for size tolerances, components that are not truly square, and to prevent binding and warping with temperature changes.
The Nielsen Profile 34 metal picture frame is available in two finishes, German Silver and Matte Black. Both of finishes are durable anodized finishes . The frame is 1/4" wide, with a height of 1-3/8" and a rabbet of 11/16". Frame Destination frames are cut approximately 1/8" larger to ensure that all frame components, including mat board, glazing, and backing, will fit properly within the finished frame. Metal frames without contents may be shipped unassembled. Let us know if you have an assembly preference.

Have similar Nielsen frame which is why I ordered this frame. Ordered complete with acrylic "glass" and backer. One of the main reasons for ordering was the price which was 1/4 of what my local chain art store quoted.
I ordered and waited over a month for these to ship... had to cancel since I could not be provided a ship date... The credit took another couple months to process! Shop elsewhere...
I'm thrilled with my new frame. I wasn't able to find the style - and dimensions I chose - anywhere else - for a unique sized piece of art I bought abroad. The frame arrived well packaged and ready to hang. Love it!!!

Thank you for your review Audrey!
This profile is my favorite as it is deep but the front profile is minimal. I also like how the glass is a bit recessed.

Couldn’t have been better. Prompt, with ultra-padded packing, and priced according to the occasion. Bravo.

This isn't the first time that my husband and I have ordered from Frame Destination (he's a photographer and has used them for framing exhibits). They've always shipped our frame materials 100% clean and usually faster than they estimate. We left my parent's anniversary gift too late and were really pressed for time...the order would originally have arrived the day before the big day. But to our relief it showed up several days early, so he was able to frame up their art and I could get it wrapped without having to rush. Thanks again for another great order!
Excellent company. Took me awhile how to do custom frame, mat, glass and archival paper….but I got the hang of it (no pun intended!) after awhile. Frames look fabulous, and good quality. I will order from here next time!
