About this item
The Nielsen Profile 12 offers very little distraction from your framed piece, allowing the artwork to speak for itself. This frame is identical to the Nielsen Profile 11, although it has a deeper rabbet: 19/32 inches versus 13/32 inches.

Warning: Frame size equals the size of the frame’s components, for example, the glass, mat board, and backer board. We automatically cut the inside of our frames 1/8 inch larger to allow for size tolerances, components that are not truly square, and to prevent binding and warping with temperature changes.
The Nielsen Profile 12 is available in black and silver. Both colors are anodized to provide additional strength and durability to an already long-lasting frame. This frame is made from high-quality aluminum to ensure that it will stand the test of time. Custom sizes are available in addition to standard sizes, which start at 5 x 7. Metal frames without contents may be shipped unassembled. Let us know if you have an assembly preference.
1. Frame Destination makes it easy to order a custom-sized frame (this was my first).
2. Delivery was quick.
3. Packaging was second to none. UPS managed to put a deep gash in the side, but everything inside was protected.
4. Not only was the frame pre-assembled, but the glass was cleaned, too. That was a first!
5. To quote General Douglas MacArthur, "I will return."
Thanks for the great service and a great product!

Excellent Prodoct and Service

The Nielsen frame we bought came promptly, was easy to assemble and looks just right framing my large jigsaw puzzle. I had a few questions before ordering, and I got through to a live person on the phone and had my questions answered helpfully.

Great Quality Frame and Acrylic
Reviewed on
I recently purchased several acrylic pieces from Frame Destination and was so pleased with everything that I decided to order a Nielsen frame and acrylic for another piece of art. I have purchased Nielsen frames in the past, and they are of excellent quality. The Nielsen Profile 12 frame is exactly what I needed. The frame and acrylic fit my artwork perfectly. In addition, the items were safely wrapped and shipped. Thank you, Frame Destination; you are amazing!

Hanging wire
Reviewed on
I have always received hanging wire with my frame purchases in the past. The person I talked to about this stated that's "not something that is normally included". When I stated that I always have received it, she said she would send some out anyway. I appreciate that. However, what is the policy on shipping hanging wire with frames?
Response from Frame Destination
Hi Tim,
We wanted to send correct information your way about our policy. We apologize for for the miscommunication. With our metal frames, we send hanging kits (including wire) as it is somewhat of a specialty hanging kit. With our wood frames, we include hanging kits if there is more than one piece ordered (for example: frame + glazing, frame + mat + glazing, etc). Please let us know if you need anything else.
Thank you!
