About this item
This cost-effective mounting board adds support to unframed photos and art. An acid-free alkaline reserve helps protect your art from damage. Available in custom sizes, this clean white papermat backing is well-suited for all decorative artwork.
Looking for full sheets (32x40)? Specifications
This white, 1/16" thick papermat backing board is ideal for providing support for unframed artwork such as photos (matted in bag). It is buffered to acid free alkaline reserve of 3-5% and has a light cream colored bevel core. This papermat is a cost-effective backing or mounting board option for non-conservation applications, such as general decorative art.
If a primary backing for a framing is required we recommend foamcore backing instead of papermat backing board.

Frame Destination was a god send. I bought these great vintage frames, but all were missing glass, backings, etc. Frame Destination had everything to pull these frames together, including instructions online! I bought about 15 pieces of glass and I was pretty worried about how they'd fare during shipping, but some wrapped my order so meticulously that it was practically damage proof. Not a single issue in a pretty large order. I'd recommend to anyone.

Loved this product - was exactly what I needed it to be. I like how it is not super thick but very stiff/sturdy.

I have made several orders over the past two years. I order glass and it is package so well that it doesn’t break. I have ordered different sizes and colors of matte, they get it right. Very happy and very impressed!
Response from Frame Destination
Thanks for the review, Andrea - love the mat colors!
