NOTE: The inside of the floater will be cut 1" larger than canvas to allow 1/2" float space between canvas and inside edge of the frame on either side.
This black or white wood floater frame is an L-shape, meaning when the frame is mounted to the wall it will be at a right angle (90 degrees) to the wall. The front face is slightly rounded for a softer look. The F120 Floater Frame is 1-3/4" wide and 2-5/16" tall with a 2" inside depth. This frame is ideal for 1.5" gallery wrap canvases mounted on our S140, S260 and S320 Stretcher Bar Frames.
The F120 canvas floater frame comes completely pre-assembled with glue and v-nails and is hand finished. Each frame comes with mounting hardware and hanging hardware.

Extremely pleased with this frame's appearance and durability. I used with a S260 strainer to mount a large painting on paper (60x60) which I mounted on a foam core backing board. Frame was cut perfectly, packaged safely and arrived quickly. I've used other, smaller Frame Destination frames before which are great, but didn't feel that a larger scale frame was possible to buy online. So happy to find I was wrong! Will definitely do more.

This is a lovely, substantial wooden frame. Because of its depth, I had to use 5/8" canvas clips (larger than the ones sent by Frame Destination) to get my painting at the depth I wanted within the frame, which meant I did have to drill into the wooden frame (which they tell you NOT to do - but I've been framing my own canvases for some time, so it worked out beautifully). I'm very glad I chose this frame for my painting.

It was a great experience. The frame was cost-effective and well crafted. My only criticism is the mounting process with this frame. IT assume that the art will always be a traditional stretcher, and the hardware included allows for a process that keeps the frame perfect, without holes being drilled. My art has narrow stretcher frames and the hardware doesn't work. So I had to customize this and drill holes into the frame. Otherwise, a great deal on a quality frame.

I've ordered 13 floating frames in the last year (different sizes and types) and they all came with very fast delivery and no issues. The 14th frame i ordered came with big gaps on 2 of the corners.
