Part of Encore's Masterpiece collection, this mounting board is a lightweight acid free foamcore foamboard perfect for the archival preservation of valuable art and photographs. Encore® Acid Free mounting board neutralizes external pollutants, outperforming other acid free foamboards. This smooth antique white foamboard is 1/8" thick.
In accordance with Library of Congress standards, this board’s facing paper is buffered with calcium carbonate to a pH between 7.7 and 8.5. This process protects both the board and the image placed upon it from deterioration over the years due to humidity and atmospheric pollutants.

I'm supposed to be writing about the 1/8" acid-free foam board, and it was just fine, but the real winner is the frames. They are well-crafted and high quality. I won't use anybody else from now on!
Ordered and received 6 3"x3" custom cut squares of acid free 1/8 foam board. Well packaged and received quickly! Very happy with my purchase and will order again.
Hmm, after that title, not sure what else to add. I do need to praise and express gratefulness for the way that Frame Destination packages the products they ship. Living in rural Alaska, I usually receive packages via USPS, and occasionally UPS. Often the packages have survived several types of transit to arrive here. I have received frames with acrylic and matts via both methods. Both have been well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. I definitely recommend Frame Destination for quality products that will arrive in excellent condition!
Great CS, Prices are great and items are shipped quick and safely.
