The clean lines, balance and proportion in the Nielsen profile 117, also called the Arthaus profile, were inspired by the Bauhaus movement of the 1900s. Each metal frame, painted in bright white, comes with acrylic glazing, white foamboard backing and a free hanging kit.

Nielsen metal profile 117 is an aluminum frame painted bright white. This frame, measuring 7/16-inch wide by 1-5/16 inch tall, has a rabbet of 13/16-inch. The clear acrylic glazing is a framers' grade and the backing, which measures 3/16-inch thick, is a smooth white foam board. The frame will overlap images approximately 3/16-inch on all four sides.
