Profile 97 features a contemporary metallic design. It measures a broad 1 inch wide and has a rabbet of 1/2-inch. The glazing is a 99% UV-filter glass and the mat board is 8-ply double thick Crescent 100% Cotton RagMat, which offers museum-grade archival protection. The visible mat borders are approximately 1-1/2 inches on all four sides. The frame's window is 1/4-inch smaller than the document, while other, off-the-shelf frames' windows are 1/2 inch smaller.
