This frame is made with the Nielsen profile 117, a classic aluminum frame anodized in matte black. It measures 7/16-inch wide by 1-5/16 inches tall with a 3/16-inch rabbet. The white mat is a solid 8-ply mat with a double thick bevel. The glazing is a clear framers' grade acrylic (Plex), while the smooth, white backing is a foamboard that is 3/16-inch thick. The frame will overlap artwork by about 3/16-inch on all four sides.
