The profile 97 contemporary metal frame measures nearly 1 inch wide and has a metallic finish. The rabbet is 1/2-inch. The framing glass has a 99% UV-filter. The mat board, a white 8-ply double thick Crescent 100% Cotton RagMat, provides museum-level archival protection. The visible mat borders are about 1-1/2 inches on all four sides, and the window is cut just 1/4-inch smaller.
