New Paper MatBoard Colors with White Core

Frame Destination announces our new line of Paper Matboard! This line of inexpensive mat board has a white core, instead of the off-white, cream-colored core of our original paper mat board. The core is the beveled edge of the mat opening that outlines the artwork. These mats provide a clean white border to your image in the picture frame.

This new line of matboard includes a selection of greens and browns that would be excellent for framing landscape photographs or canvas prints. Two other exciting new colors are “Spice” and “Oyster Shell”. Oyster Shell is a grayish-white with a mineral-like texture. Spice is a warm, off-white color reminiscent of rice paper. “Classic Gold” and “Silver” are another pair of new colors that have a shiny, metallic look to them. The “Silver” is a fine alternative to consider for black and white photography.
