Solid wood with 90 degree corners that are professionally glued and nailed by us to save you time.

Add FoamCore Backing:
A 1/8" Rabbet on the back allows you to seal the back of the canvas frame with foamcore. Foamcore seals up your finished canvas and provide a place to attach a label or an artist’s certificate of authenticity. Order foamcore that is 3 inches smaller than the stretcher frame. Example: For an 18x24 stretcher frame order a 15x21 foamcore.

NOTE: We DO NOT attach foamcore to the stretcher frame. You can attach it with tape or glue after stretching the canvas over the frame.

Our stretcher bar frames are composed of high quality solid wood stretcher bars that we professionally hand glue and nail together into a solid wood frame with 90 degree corners. The frames have rounded faces to help prevent cracking of the canvas over time.
