Frame Destination, Inc Featured in a New Book, Weekend Entrepreneur , 101 Great Ways to Earn Extra Cash

April 4 21 , 2006 – Dallas , TX – Frame Destination, Inc is currently being featured in a newly released book entitled Weekend Entrepreneur , 101 Great Ways to Earn Extra Cash by Michelle Anton and Jennifer Basye Sander, with a Foreword by Dr. Laura Schlessinger. The book cites successful examples for the potential weekend entrepreneur. Frame Destination Inc. was also featured in the March 2006 Issue of "Entrepreneur Magazine" as a worthy goal for would-be weekend business warriors.

Mark Rogers, founder and owner of Frame Destination, Inc, fulfilled his lifelong dream of having his own company and being his own boss by filling a void in the picture frame industry. His big idea started with a search on Google for 13x19 picture frames, only to find none existed. Rogers decided to invest $30,000 in his picture framing business and taking baby steps, he tested the waters, manufacturing the necessary picture frames for professional photographers that were not available in the market place. Soon he was working day and night to fill orders. He quit his other job to devote full time to Frame Destination. Within six months, he had recouped his original investment. The small company grew out of his house and into a warehouse-showroom, just from a forward thinking entrepreneur finding a niche and filling it.

Rogers was able to start out picture framing in his home and as he got busier, he got the manufacturers to do the cutting so he didn't need mat and frame cutting as much equipment and he did the final assembly in his home. The obvious advantage of any home-based business is low overhead, thus lower costs can be handed down to the customer to compete with the bigger companies with high overhead. Rogers cites the Internet as an invaluable resource, both for research and building his customer base. He also helps out other photographers in answering questions about where to get frames photo frames and archival photography framing .

Frame Destination offers both wood and metal picture frames, custom and ready-made frames, mat board, Plexiglas, acrylic, clear bags and photo frame mounting supplies such as hinging tape and photo corners. Rogers states, "We specialize in museum quality archival picture frames for fine-art photography. We also have special sizes such as 13x19 frames, 8x12 frames, 11x17 frames, and16x24 photo frames all at wholesale prices. We created standard-size acid-free frames that do not cause yellowing and will help reduce fading. These frames are perfect for gallery style picture frames for fine art photography, especially for the new popular digital photography printing."
