New login required -
Our new website has many new features and a better customer database. The new system will use your email address instead of a separate login name. It is very easy to setup a new account. All you need to do is provide a new password during the checkout process when you place your next order. Even if you do not provide one you can still pull up your order later. If you do provide a password, our website will keep track of your billing history, multiple shipping addresses, and make it easier to review order history.
New order system –
The new website has two main menu bars. The product menu is along the top. The information menu is down the left side. To order a complete picture frame, go to the top menu and select “Frames” -> “Complete Kit”. To get an overview of our products go to the top menu bar and select “Components” and a sub menu option for items such as mat board or moulding. Here you will find enhanced pictures of our metal and wood frames and mats.
Full custom picture frame sizes –
The new website allows you to order full custom picture frames. The picture frame kit does not support custom, but it will in the future. To order a custom frame just go into the components section and select each product. Click more info for the product and in the size pull-down select “custom”. We suggest you start with the mat since it will calculate the frame size that you will need to use when you order the moulding, mount board or backing, and acrylic or glass. Custom mats allow bottom weighting.
New framing products –
We added many new picture frame products. New moulding, papermats, mounting board and glass. You can also order wood and metal picture frame moulding or acrylic and glass separately.
Volume discounts –
The new site automatically calculates volume discounts and we have added quantity discounts on everything from frames to bags. Frame kits and custom products also have volume discounts. Just place the item in the shopping cart and change the quantity to see the new price. The discounts for framing products start at quantity 4. Clearbags start at 2 for the 100 packs.
Price changes –
When oil prices shot up all of our suppliers raised their prices and regrettably, we had to follow suit. Since we are now selling all of the frame components independently, we had to change our pricing structure to remain competitive. Although our complete frame and individual mat board increased, most of our mount board, moulding and acrylic prices decreased. We also drastically increased mat board volume discounts from 2.5% for qty 10 to 26% for qty 4 of regular mats and 18% for large mats.
We sincerely hope our change to the new website goes as smoothly as possible for you. We are just getting started with the new site and we will be working to make it faster and easier to use indefinitely.
We recommend you place your holiday orders early. Fall is a very busy time for the framing industry. Ecommerce is getting more popular and the shipping companies will be running at record levels resulting in delays. Express shipping such as 2-day and overnight will randomly get delayed from inclement weather causing airport closures.
