UV/Non Glare Acrylic - High quality conservation grade framing acrylic with 98% UV and Non-Glare etched surface. More optically pure and lighter weight than glass. Picture frames with UV filtration help protect artwork from fading, yellowing and brittling. Surface is etched to reduce the glare allowing the artwork more visibility in difficult lighting conditions. This product has a matte finish which will result in a minor loss of sharpness. The loss of sharpness is worse with 8-ply than 4-ply. Impact resistant making it easy to work with and safe for use in children’s rooms, sports areas, and with irreplaceable artwork. The UV filtration is built into the acrylic so it will not wear off over time. We recommend Craftics microfiber cloth for safe cleaning without scratching.
